Musician Portraits

Professional Photographer

4HMusician portraits are so much fun! Never hold back the musician’s creative mind and encourage them to present their personality with ideas during a photo shoot. It is always a genius strategy to be creative and different with photo sessions so that your work stands out and is attractive with outstanding interest. We did this session at feeding time. The horses loved the attention as they munched away on the fresh hay round. Make your sessions fun! You want your client to always be left yearning for more. This is how you keep a regular scheduled client base. We normally contact each client every six months for updated sessions. Musicians, models, actors, real estate agents, athletes etc. should always update their head shots within a six month time period.

Photography is a Creative Art

Professional Photographer

There is more to photography than just a click of the camera button. Many people think that having a camera and posting pictures make them a professional photographer. No, no and no. Photography is a creative art that is produced from the passion within the photographer’s soul. Great photographer’s know the importance of being a visionary, seeing the beauty of their subject and perfect timing is a must. Skill is a determined craft that is earned from spending hours on top of hours to master when it comes to the world of photography professionalism.

To be a great professional photographer one can never stop learning or learn to much! Always take the time to make mentors (other photographer’s), watch tutorials ask advice from other professionals in the industry and take classes. The more experience tucked under your belt the better your skill will become and in no time the craft will mastered to your satisfaction as well as others.

Once you have focused on your style of creative vision by following your own path and not copying others, your work will stand out and become a noticed success in your life. Remember that is important to learn from other successful photographer’s, but not acceptable to copy their style if you want to stand out when you are competing in a world full of amazing photographer’s. Competition is one of the healthiest and best ways to get yourself in the game and become better at what you do. Be courageous, put yourself out there and compete with confidence! Trust me, your greatest works will fall into place from your competitive spirit, sense of adventure and thirst for building a successful photography business.

Your skill will not be achieved overnight. Be patient and understand that it may take years before you actually reach the skill level that you have written on your list of goals. I am still learning everyday and realize that there is so much more to learn! I am in constant contact with my favorite mentor photographer’s asking questions and soaking up the knowledge that they share with me. Hang in there! If you have the passion and courage to express your creative art  then you will surely be successful.
